For the last almost 10 years I have personally been involved in a form of prison ministry, in the form of Re-Entry. Life has a way of sort of sneaking up on you and calling you back so to speak in what I have come to believe is the Lord's calling...ministry wise. Well, life certainly did that to me on a more personal level. 

You see now my own spouse is now serving time. We are into the 1st month of what will be under a 5 year journey together in this hardship known as Incarceration. I decided to apply my years of experience to not only better serve my husband but to help encourage others and draw encouragement from others as well, who are also 'Doing Time" with their loved ones.

Encouragement & Support for loved ones in prison. Families & Friends networking together to encourage our prisoners and each other. Remembering our loved ones in prison is an act of grace and not a stigma.

I don't think anyone purposely sets out to make the kinds of mistakes that will not only cause and cost the many hardships and agony to their loved ones, family and friends; but the very price of their own personal freedoms by way of incarceration.

When someone we love be it a spouse, significant other, a family member or friend is incarcerated, we on the outside are locked up too, figuratively speaking.
